Animal Shuffles
- Use the sets of animal cards to decide how you will group your animals. Divide your cards into stacks according to the criteria you chosen.
- Label your categories on the Key of your Animal Shuffle sheet; using a different color to represent each group. Count the number of cards in each stack, and make tally marks on the chart in the box.
- Write a few sentences that explain the characteristics or features used to classify the animals into groups.
- Use the data to construct the graph on the bottom of the page, adding labels, numbers, and a title.
