Celling Cereal
Directions: Take a copy of the celling cereal project directions and rubric. Follow the directions in the “Your task” section of the page. Use the rubric to guide you in achieving the maximum credit possible. The rubric is to be submitted with your final project.
All You Cell
You will choose things you already have in your house to construct a model of a cell. Items will need to be brought to class.. You need something that will be the cell wall or cell membrane. You need something that will be the cytoplasm, and you need different items to represent the structures of the cell.
Technological Innovation Writing
Directions: take inventory of the technology in the school. Students will select one piece of technology within the school, and write about how not having the technology available would affect learning. Their writing should include both the positive and negative effects of no longer having the technology.
Technological Innovation School Belief
Directions: Create a list of your own beliefs about learning to add to the class chart. For example, “We believe that if we work hard, we will learn what we need to know to do well in 5th grade and beyond.” Using the class chart, identify the most important ideas and use these ideas to compose a class belief statement.Write a letter to your parents/guardians explaining the contents of the class belief statement and how that will affect your decisions over the course of the year.
Bill of rights visual presentation
Bill of Rights Visual Presentation: You MUST complete the Understanding Bill of Rights assignment in the center folder before completing this task. Complete a visual presentation of the first ten Amendments. You will not be allowed to use the definition of the amendment, but must create a visual (collage, poster, powerpoint, timeline, photo story, etc), skit/play, or a news report podcast
